It's always been a wonder to me what different animals dream about and if they dream at all. I'm pretty sure they can check a sleeping animal for the rapid eye movement that they see in humans and associate with dreaming... but we'll never be 100% sure until we can get into the mind of an animal.

I say Holiday 2010.

I had a cat that used to twitch like mad whenever he was asleep. Made for good entertainment. :giggle:

my one cat used to have horrable nightmares- he would cry and fidget in his sleep, and if you touched him, he'd wake up so afraid he'd jump into the air and run away crying. we found him as a little kitten, he was obandoned. he's the nicest and most lovable cat i've ever had...

funny comic.

i think that they have proved that what mice dream about is what happened to them during the previous day. i think i read that somewhere or saw it on animal planet, but hey, you never know. they still haven't figured out if animals can see in color or not (i personally think they do, because my cats seem to enjoy playing with toys of certain colors...)

Do cats ever even sleep? it seems that they're always just laying with their eyes closed. when they hear you coming they get up and are ready to go!
